Following the launch of the government’s International Education Strategy today, Helen Bowles, Deputy CEO of GuildHE, said,
“The emphasis on a collaborative approach between education and business, between public and private, and between students and  providers of higher education,  is fundamental to GuildHE and to our member institutions. The links that some of our smaller institutions have established in specialist areas with partners overseas demonstrate the strengths of their provision and the fact that they are leaders in their field.

“We welcome the recognition that support for international activity needs to be offered in a practical and vocational context for both larger and smaller providers and with a joined up approach across all government departments.”
