The GuildHE Virtual Spring Annual Conference- HE 2025: Opportunities and challenges will be taking place on 26-27 May 2021. 

The event is supported by The Physiological Society.

The agenda 

The conference will bring together a range of high profile speakers to consider key issues facing the higher education sector in the coming years. 

Keynote speakers at the event will include: 

  • Lord Wharton of Yarm, incoming OfS chair 
  • Michelle Donelan, Minister of State for Universities, DfE. 
  • Hannah Essex, Co-Executive Director, British Chambers of Commerce
  • Catriona Jackson, Chief Executive, Universities Australia 

 Other sessions will cover: 

  • The Student Experience, changing expectations and new way to engage students 
  • Whether higher education governance is fit for the future
  • Admissions for 2025 

We shall also explore skills policy and our connection to industry and the future of knowledge exchange.     

How to book and who can attend  

  • Attendance for GuildHE members will be charged at £90 per institution (rather than per delegate) and up to 10 delegates per institution are welcome to sign up.  
  • There will be a members-only session just for heads of member institutions. 
  • SU Officers will be able to attend the conference free of charge.
