Tijana joined CREST in 2016 as the Research Network Coordinator.

Tijana is coordinating daily activities at CREST and together with Rachel Persad is involved in developing events and training opportunities for CREST members.  She is also involved in the coordination of the Summer School and is responsible for CREST’s communication channels, including the CREST website and social media.

Prior to joining CREST Tijana did a PhD in plant pathology at Harper Adams University.  Originally from Serbia, she has also worked at University of Belgrade and in Mexico at the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT).

Outside of work Tijana enjoys long walks in the nature with her young family, photography and has recently taken up running.
