Policy Officer, part-time 0.5 April 2009 to December 2011                        

Salary pro-rata of circa £35,000 pa + London Weighting

 

GuildHE is the representative body for the leaders of a range of new universities, university colleges and specialist institutions. Based in central London, this post provides policy support to GuildHE’s members and promotes their interests to a wide audience. The office team also supports briefing, guidance and opportunities for members and their staff to share their good practice. Reporting to the GuildHE CEO the Policy Officer will lead on a number of key policy areas, including HE finance, estates, IT and information and data processing. He/she will also be significantly involved in the collection and analysis of data relating to GuildHEs work and play a part in the small office team.

We are looking for an effective and confident communicator who can demonstrate excellent analytical and problem solving skills and who holds a good degree or equivalent as well as having a minimum of 3 years experience working either in higher education or in a policy, finance or planning role in a related sector.
