We regularly invite speakers from UCAS and other sector colleagues to this forum for admissions leaders in our member institutions to help their own planning and admissions practices.
This is the second meeting of the 2025/26 membership year.
The session will focus on fair practice in admissions, with particular attention to contextual admissions. While contextual approaches are widely used, variation across institutions can make processes difficult to navigate for applicants and advisers. The meeting will explore how greater transparency, consistency and equity can strengthen applicant confidence and support widening participation.
A key part of the discussion will be the Universities UK, UCAS and Sutton Trust joint project on contextual admissions, which is developing shared sector guidance. Members are invited to contribute insights from practice to help shape this work and support fair access and positive student outcomes.
