GuildHE's Council Meeting brings together the Heads of our member institutions. This event is exclusively for GuildHE members and will be held in person at GuildHE member St Mary's University, Twickenham. 

Focusing on governance and leadership we encourage you to invite the Chair and Clerk of your governing body to attend. Please register by 15 May.

The agenda includes:

  • A keynote address by Nicola de Iongh, Chair of the Committee of University Chairs (CUC).
  • A panel discussion on governance lessons learned through collaborative efforts. Members will share their experiences and insights on mergers, collaborations, and partnerships in this panel discussion featuring Professor Lesley Haig, Professor Jenny Higham, Kate Baker and Steffan Davies.
  • A panel presentation and discussion on diversity and leadership featuring Dr Monika Nangia, Professor Damien Page, and David Bass
