The GuildHE Human Resources (HR) Network provides a collaborative space for HR professionals across GuildHE member institutions to connect, share practice, and discuss emerging challenges and opportunities within the higher education workforce landscape.

The network supports colleagues working across areas such as staff wellbeing, organisational development, employee relations, recruitment and retention, equality, diversity and inclusion, and sector regulation. Through regular meetings and peer discussion, members are able to exchange practical approaches, reflect on strategic developments, and build connections with colleagues across smaller, medium-sized, and specialist institutions.

  • This is the last meeting of this network for the 2025/26 membership year. On the agenda includes:
    An update on employment law
  • Exploring the impact of the new pay spine and more with ECC Educational Competencies Consortium
  • UCEA sector updates
  • Staff wellbeing from compliance and people perspectives
Conversations on workload and psychological safety at work
