GuildHE’s Students’ Unions (SU) Network provides a dedicated and supportive space for elected student officers and Students’ Union (SU) staff to connect, collaborate, and share practice. Designed with the needs of smaller and specialist unions in mind, the network brings together colleagues to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping student representation today.

On the agenda includes:

  • Benn Rapson, Chair of the Board at The University of Law's Student Union, who will be sharing a resource for SU representatives
  • Aditi Chotra, Union President of Arts University Bournemouth's Students' Union, who will explore the future challenges and opportunities of everything from student wellbeing to AI
  • An update on student mental health and duty of care from Ellen Graves from GuildHE
  • Discussions on effective student representation and key learnings as SU representatives
  • A deep dive into the latest policy developments to keep on top of, including freedom of speech and the changing regulatory landscape
