This group has been established to support institutions with a first and second time submission to REF. It also includes colleagues in leadership roles who have not run the exercise at their current institution.

These sessions are an opportunity to:

  • surface challenges for first-time entrants, and those relatively new to REF
  • provide peer support for those entering for the first time
  • gather intelligence and insight to share with Research England about a group of institutions with which they have no current direct relationship
