GuildHE welcomes the University College of Estate Management (UCEM) to membership.
UCEM is the leading provider of supported online education for the Built Environment, with over 95 years’ experience of providing the highest quality learning opportunities. UCEM has more than 3,500 students from more than 100 countries benefiting from its qualifications taught by tutors with extensive industry experience.
UCEM helps to enhance Built Environment professional careers through its accredited property-related and construction programmes, offered at Postgraduate, Undergraduate and Apprenticeship levels.
As a member of GuildHE, one of the UK’s two formal HE representative bodies, UCEM joins a group of institutions including universities, FE colleges and alternative providers, who together provide a dynamic and diverse contribution to UK higher education, nurturing innovation and creativity and providing more choice for students and graduate employers.
GuildHE CEO, Gordon McKenzie, said:
“Like other GuildHE members UCEM offer vocationally relevant higher education, industry connections and a focus on the student. They help produce the highly skilled workers that industries and professions need – the skills essential to increase productivity and help realise the aspiration to see growth and prosperity in all regions across the UK. We are delighted that they have joined GuildHE.”
UCEM join Morley College, Istituto Maragoni and Leeds College of Music as new members of GuildHE in the 2017/18 year.
