A new GuildHE is on the way

We're putting the final touches to a new website and an enriched offer for our members; with new resources, policy briefings and a fresh take on the needs of vocational and technical higher education provision.

GuildHE is the representative body for the leaders of a diverse range of new universities, university colleges and specialist institutions.  Based in central London, this post provides policy support to GuildHE’s members and promotes their interests to a wide audience. The office team also provides briefing, guidance and exchange opportunities for members and their staff to share their good practice. 

 

Reporting to the GuildHE CEO, the Policy Officer will be involved with a number of key policy areas, including HE finance, estates, IT and information and data processing.  He/she will also be significantly involved in the collection and analysis of data, especially to support the advocacy, public relations and other aspects of GuildHE’s work. The Policy Officer is an active member of the small office team, organising and attending events.

 

We are looking for an effective and confident communicator who can demonstrate excellent research, analytical and problem solving skills and who holds a good degree or equivalent. You should also have a minimum of 3 years experience working either in higher education or in a policy, finance or planning role in a related sector.
