“GuildHE welcomes Tim Wilson’s Review into university and business collaboration. He describes a sector that works closely with business and provides many detailed examples of relationships and partnerships that function well. The report also sets specific challenges to universities, to business and to government on how collaboration can be further supported and developed more effectively.
 
“Above all, the report provides a case for why HE should stay within the remit of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Any changes to that arrangement – especially at a time when university and business collaboration is essential to drive economic growth – would be an unnecessary distraction.”
