Sparsholt College has been offering Higher Education since the late 1970s and has worked with the University of Portsmouth, its validating university, since the early 1980s. Leeds Conservatoire is a leading European conservatoire and the largest in the United Kingdom. The conservatoire provides music education to a community of over 1,900 musicians through a variety of programs, including undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses, numerous short courses for all ages, and a Saturday Music School for young musicians aged nine–18.
