Since June 2024, Brooke has been leading GuildHE into its next chapter as CEO. With 12 years of experience in higher education leadership, she's a true champion for the sector. From Director of Strategic Academic Engagement at Birmingham City University (2022-2024) to Head of Skills at the Office for Students (2019-2022), she's made a real impact. At OfS, Brooke shaped skills policy, led cross-directorate collaborations, and launched funding programmes that spanned everything from graduate outcomes and technical education to AI and healthcare education. Brooke's vision for GuildHE? To build on its strong foundation and create an even more dynamic, supportive and publicly-engaged organisation, leading the sector towards a better future by shining a light on the diverse institutions that make up our community.

Brooke is a firm believer in empowering her team, developing with curiosity and courage, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and supporting her peers to shine. Based in Bristol, Brooke has 2 kids, a husband and a dog, and loves traveling with them in her downtime (though she tends to leave the dog at home!).
