Research degree awarding powers
To support our members to reach research degree awarding powers (RDAPs), we provide them the unique opportunity to hear from GuildHE and other sector experts, as well as receive peer support from other members who are are different stages of the process, or have achieved RDAPs.
REF peer support
GuildHE Research provides expert insights into REF policy developments and invaluable opportunities for peer support to institutions submitting to REF for the first or second time.
Pilot Wellcome placement for postgraduate researchers
GuildHE Research are working with the Wellcome Collection to pilot an innovative placement model to diversify the cohort of postgraduate research students taking up placements. The model aims to provide greater and more accessible opportunities for GHER postgraduate researchers by creating flexible placement opportunities for students that are part-time, mature and likely to have external responsibilities, and not in receipt of UKRI funding.
