GuildHE is delighted to partner with Advance HE to deliver a Governance Development Programme comprised of four sessions. This is the first of four.
Session 1 of 4 will cover:
- Introduction and overview of higher education governance;
- Role and responsibilities of individual governors and Boards as a whole;
- Principles of good governance and support;
- Governing body structure and composition.
Audience type: This development programme is best suited for governors of institutions.
About the speaker:
Aaron Porter, Associate Director (Governance), Advance HE
Aaron leads on Advance HE governance activity through the delivery of their national Governor Development Programme which engages with around 900 governors across the UK on an annual basis. He has extensive experience leading reviews of over 25 governing boards.
