Join GuildHE’s Members’ Assembly as we begin the 2026/27 year by coming together to reflect on the changing higher education landscape, GuildHE’s priorities for the year ahead, and how we can continue to build a resilient and connected membership community.
This opening session will bring together Vice-Chancellors, Principals and senior leaders from across the GuildHE community to reflect on the current higher education landscape, hear about GuildHE's priorities for the year ahead, and reconnect with colleagues from across our diverse membership.
Professor Ken Sloan, GuildHE Board Chair, and Dr Brooke Storer-Church, GuildHE Chief Executive Officer, will share an overview of the current sector landscape, our policy priorities and new campaign strategy.
We will also highlight opportunities to make the most of GuildHE membership and invite members to help shape our programme for the year ahead, including through interactive discussion on advocacy, professional development and collaboration across the membership.
The session will also feature a case study from Lisa Mann, Vice-Chancellor of Arts University Bournemouth and GuildHE Board Member, on academic workload planning and building a resilient future.
We look forward to bringing members together for a constructive and forward-looking start to the new year.
