With the new free speech complaints scheme and conditions of registration expected in the coming months, this session will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the OfS on the next steps for free speech regulation in higher education.

GuildHE members are invited to join a roundtable discussion with Arif Ahmed, Director for Freedom of Speech and Academic Freedom at the Office for Students (OfS), alongside other OfS colleagues.

This session is intended to support members in understanding forthcoming requirements and preparing for future developments in free speech regulation.

Members will have the chance to ask questions, discuss implementation considerations, and explore the implications of the emerging complaints scheme and condition of registration.
