Online meeting of the Teacher Education Advisory Group (TEAG) - A collaboration between GuildHE and University UK(UUK)

TEAG is a joint collaboration between GuildHE and UUK. It represents the views of higher education providers of initial teacher education across GuildHE’s membership, which comprises more than 60 universities and colleges across the UK, and Universities UK’s membership, comprising more than 140 universities.

As a group, TEAG was initially formed to bring together the heads of institution of those providers active in teacher education in order to ensure there was strategic oversight and consideration of the operational and policy matters affecting teacher training across the UK. It was envisioned as a mechanism through which institutions might influence the development and implementation of both government policy, including funding and regulatory policies in support of teacher education.
