We are excited to announce that the GuildHE Research Doctoral Festival 2025 will take place on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 June, at the University of Winchester.
The two-day residential event is an excellent opportunity for your doctoral students and early-stage researchers to engage, collaborate, broaden their horizons, and gain valuable insights. Day one of the festival will focus on the doctoral research journey and day two’s theme is research engagement and impact.
The programme will provide opportunities for students to talk about their research as well as a workshop on researcher wellbeing from Dr Petra Boynton, research consultant and trainer, a session on communicating research with non-experts, delivered by the award-winning Brilliant Club, and an alumni panel to share experiences and tips on completing a doctorate.
Registration is now closed.
Note that each student will be responsible for booking and funding their own accommodation and travel; it is at the discretion of each member institution to support this. We have worked with the University of Winchester to organise reduced rates at the Winchester Royal Hotel (£95 per night for bed and breakfast single occupancy or £110 for double occupancy using a discount code which we will share when they register.)
