Our Global Majority PGR Network was co-created with PGR students and aims to build an inclusive, supportive community of PGR students and early-stage researchers from global majority backgrounds at our institutions, support career and skills development, and inform our policy and advocacy work on equality, diversity and inclusion in research.
For the first meeting of the academic year, we are delighted to collaborate with the South Asian Women in Higher Education Network, who will run a workshop with our PGR students and early stage researchers titled “Towards an Inclusive Research Culture- Belonging and Identity for the Global Majority”.
We will also be joined by Dr Blessing Marandure, Senior Lecturer in Psychology & Fair Outcomes Champion at De Montfort University, and Hadassah Andrews, PhD Student, to discuss navigating academia at the intersection of race and gender, as well as The Young Foundation to run a session on community-based research.
Please join us and register for the network event through the link above.
Available to representatives from GuildHE Research member institutions only. To know more about GuildHE membership, please email [email protected].
