Join us for the second and final Global Majority PGR Network of the academic year.

This is the second (and final) meeting of the academic year for our Global Majority PGR Network. This network aims to build an inclusive, supportive community of PGR students and early stage researchers from global majority backgrounds at our institutions. It also aims to support global majority researchers in career and skills development and inform our policy and advocacy work on equality, diversity and inclusion in research.

We're bringing this network together online on Thursday 9 July. This meeting will feature:

  • A session with the recently founded Black Researcher Consortium with Isabella Mascarenhas (Consortium Director) and I'ah Donovan-Banfield (Programme Manager)
  • A workshop led by Patricia Orozco Munoz (PhD student at University of Winchester) to discuss and reframe feelings of being “behind” as a global majority researcher

This session will be facilitated by GHER's PGR coordinators:

  • Avril Cassell, St Mary's University Twickenham
  • Patricia Orozco Munoz, University of Winchester
  • Maureen Smith, Birmingham Newman University

Please join us and register for the network event through the link above.
