As the sector turns its attention to the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2029, GuildHE Research is launching its first REF 2029 Workshop of the 2026-27 membership and academic year; an initiative designed to support and strengthen capacity across our GuildHE Research (GHER) membership.
This session offers a space to think through the practicalities of REF 2029, alongside colleagues who understand the particular challenges facing small, medium and specialist research institutions whether preparing for the first submission or building on previous REF experience.
As well as substantive content, the workshop will provide an opportunity for peer support; a chance to share experience, ask questions and learn from other navigating similar circumstances.
GuildHE Research will endeavour to engage UKRI Research England as part of the session (to be finalised). Further information, including the agenda and structure of the day, will be announced shortly.
Available to GuildHE Research members only. To know more about membership, please email [email protected]
