Finish Academic Writing Month on a high with this workshop led by Dr Diana Damian Martin!
This two-part session will begin by discussing modes of academic writing, with a focus on nonstandard and creative approaches. How do we maintain rigour, but work with the broad range of modes of writing appropriate to our research? How do creative methods offer ways in to writing practice for academic contexts? How might our own writing journeys inform how we approach, and engage, with academic writing? The second half will be a facilitated writing session where participants have the opportunity to apply these approaches together in an hour of power writing Participants are invited to bring something they want to progress with or work on during this time.
The workshop will be held on Zoom and we have 25 spaces to offer to our PGR students, so please do register as soon as possible! Please register by Tuesday 18 November.
