Jic's new sector-wide statement, signed by representative bodies including GuildHE, aims to provide the foundations for responsible innovation and sustainable AI adoption across education and research.

As GenAI becomes further integrated within our institutions' systems and functions, the sector is calling on technology suppliers to provide greater transparency, accountability and cost control for AI-enabled products and services that will allow institutions to make informed decisions and retain appropriate choice and control.

GuildHE has signed and strongly supports this statement.
