GuildHE welcomes new Prime Minister, Andy Burnham

GuildHE is pleased to welcome Andy Burnham as our new Prime Minister. As a recognised body for higher education, we look forward to continuing our excellent relations with the Government. We remain committed to promoting and defending an inclusive and diverse HE sector that works for students, regions, the economy, and the cultural life of our country.

GuildHE will continue to advocate for our members who are delivering the local growth and ambition that the new Prime Minister champions. We will be engaging early with new Ministers to talk about what we need to do in partnership to deliver those ambitions, including recognising that a high-quality education is about more than the salary you earn from it.
